Mary was born on June 20, 1914 in Oshkosh a daughter of Emmanuel and Amalie Stieben. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and worked at Sears for over 40 years before her retirement.
Mary enjoyed sewing and baking, which she gladly shared with family and friends. She loved traveling and kept many mementos of her ventures. Mary was a devoted aunt who loved her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two brothers Frederick (Lee) Stieben of Oshkosh and Edwin Stieben of Las Vegas, NV; four sisters, Bertha Foster of Fond du Lac, Martha (Gordon) Tellock, Dorothy (Ronald) Gartman, and June (Lawrence) Lowther all of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Emil Stieben and Alex Stieben, and a sister Emma Stieben.
A private service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
