Bernard J Goyke

Bernard “Ben” Goyke, age 78, passed away on Wednsday August 8, 2018 at his home. He was born to the late George and Agnes (Stamborski) Goyke on October 7, 1939 in Oshkosh. He married Catherine Herbst, on August 18, 1962, at St Thomas Church in Poygan, WI. Ben worked for the State of Wisconsin for 32 years. He enjoyed rowing his antique wooden row boat on Lake Winnebago. Ben also enjoyed biking, traveling and passing the time at his lake home enjoying the bay. Ben will be missed by his family and friends.
Ben is survived by his wife, Cathy; sons, George (Sharyl), Andrew (Sally), David (Vicki); grandchildren, Noah (Zully), Eli (Paula), Lucas, Julia, David, Ramdy; great-grandchildren, Silas, and Eloise.
In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his four brothers, one sister, and his best friend Vince.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
