Dale R. Stephan

Dale R. Stephan, age 85, of Menasha, passed away on Friday July 6, 2018 at Theda Care Medical Center-Neenah. He was born on October 29, 1932 in Oshkosh, a son of Arno and Ruby Friedrich Stephan. On September 8, 1962 he married Shirley Zimdars in Oshkosh.

Dale was a graduate of the University of Michigan and a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. He was a member of several bands since his youth and loved both listening to and performing music along with a love to read anything. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, his children Roger (Laura) Stephan, Sarah (Dane) Klintworth, Andrew (Sherri) Stephan, Charles (Ann) Stephan, his grandchildren Katerina, Karl, Kyle (Fiancee Aly), Reid, Timothy, Brian, William, Erica (Alec), Alexander, Hannah, Ethan, Derek, Faith, Nora, Katherine, Matthew, one sister Greta (Donald) Bahr, a daughter-in-law Shirley, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Paul, one brother Donald, two sisters Audrey, and Margaret.

Funeral services for Dale will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (1100 E. Murdock Ave.) with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Visitation will be at church on Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Oshkosh.

A memorial to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church is being established.
