Donna M. Maldwin

Donna M. Maldwin, age 75 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on October 1, 1941 in Freedom, WI the daughter of the late John and Georgiana (De Leest) Spierings. She was united in marriage to James Maldwin on October 21, 1961 in Appleton and their marriage was blessed with three children. Donna and Jim loved to travel and frequented Las Vegas. They enjoyed spending their summers boating with friends and family. She was an avid Elvis and Days of Our Lives fan and a member of the Valley Dolls.
Donna is survived by her husband, Jim of 55 years, three children: Kim (Steve) Maldwin, Jeff (Lisa) Maldwin and Lori Wendt, all of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren: Ashley (Andy) Kortbein, Courtney (Jake) Hintze, Joshua (Kelsey) Pik, Alex and Milena Maldwin, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Colburn, Kylie, and Madison Wendt; six great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Sydney, Sawyer, London, Hunter and soon to be Harrison; one brother, Jim (Theresa) Spierings, three sisters: Marian Vosters, Marjorie Holcomb and Betty (Tony) Hietpas; further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Karl Wendt, one brother, John (Evelyn) Spierings, three sisters: Evelyn (John) Welhouse, Dorothy (Jerry) Rohan, and Helen (Norbert “Nubs”) LeNoble; brothers-in-law: Norbert Vosters and Stanley Holcomb.
Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, with Pastor Andi Wolf officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to ThedaCare Caring for Kids Fund.
The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center ICU staff and Drs. Weber and Zornosa for all their wonderful care that was given to Donna. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
