Dorothy Marie Kopp

September 1, 1933 — June 14, 2017

Dorothy M. Kopp passed away on June 14, 2017. She was born to the late Arthur and Elsie (Heinzl) Peterson in Oshkosh, WI. She married Ronald Kopp on May 3, 1952 in Oshkosh, together they had two children. Dorothy was a member of the Elks Lady’s and was in charge of their newsletter The Wapiti. Dorothy loved playing in Bridge leagues, and even started one during her stay at Gabriel’s Villa. She enjoyed collecting antiques and playing golf with Ron; together they were both strong supporters of The United Way.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Jody (Allen) Heiting and Julie (Doug) Barks; grandchildren, Eric (Carrie) Heiting, Matthew (Megan) Heiting, Nicholas Barks, Bryce Barks; great-grandchildren, Anna Heiting, Becca Heiting; nieces and nephews, Tom (Yvonne) Widzinski, Sally Widzinski, Mike (Marilyn) Roberts, and Wendy Gilbert. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Harland Roberts.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Ron; sisters, Rose (Ray) Lux, and Nancy Roberts.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11AM on June 22, 2017 at Most Blessed Sacrament – St. Peter’s Site. A visitation will be held from 9AM until the time of service. Father Bill Hower will be officiating. A burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Gabriel’s Villa for their loving care of Dorothy during her stay there.
