Gerald John Cihlar

Gerald J. “Toby” Cihlar, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born to the late Frank and Rose (Schneider) Cihlar in Oshkosh on August 15, 1934. Toby served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an assemblyman of Speed Queen. In his retirement Toby enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening and hunting.
Toby is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Darrel) Schmidt; niece, Joann (Steve) Peeters and their children Aaron Peeters and Stephanie (John) Bartman; and nephew, Dan Schmidt.
In addition to his parents, Toby is preceded in death by his brother, Frank (Helen) Cihlar Jr.
A private service will be held by the family.
