Kay Kriegel

Kay N. Kriegel, 80, of Oshkosh, WI & Naples, FL, died August 15, 2017. She was born March 4, 1937 in Oshkosh WI, the daughter of the late Victor and Erna (Goll) Fink. She married Kenneth G. Kriegel on May 3, 1958 in Oshkosh.

She was employed as a medical secretary in the pathology department of Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh for 22 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, traveling, Las Vegas, NASCAR, Green Bay Packers and her 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth G., three sons; Kenneth M., Oshkosh, Steven, Dallas, TX and Gary (Kim) of Shorewood, MN; 1 sister-in-law, June Kriegel, 1 brother-in-law, Donald Winter, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Erna Fink; and in-laws, Robert and Bertha Kriegel; sisters, Janet Kolodzik, Ft Myers, FL, Jane Fink Naples , FL, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Delton Kriegel, Caryl and Richard Harvot and Suzanne Winter of Oshkosh.

Private services were held with Fr. Tom Long presiding. There was no visitation per her request. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Raphael Church emergency fund, Oshkosh, or the Oshkosh Police Department K-9 unit.

Kay treasured the special bond she had with her Rhode Island friends, Lance and Eve Beauchamp who taught her to laugh and look at life in a different and positive way.
