Leo O. Zarling

Leo Owen Zarling, 81, of Omro, passed away on August, 22, 2018 at his home in the Town of Utica.

Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Point Drive in Oshkosh, on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. A private burial for the immediate family will follow on Tuesday, September 4.

Leo was born on December 19, 1936 to Robert and Mamie Zarling. He graduated from Omro High School. He worked as a farmer on his family’s homestead for over seventy years. Leo served many years in the Army National Guard. He was one of the four founding members of the Utica Volunteer Fire Department.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mamie Zarling; his brothers, Mike (Robert Jr.), Elmer, and John.

Leo is survived by Linde (Robert) Andresen, David (Mary Ann) Zarling, Michael (Debra) Zarling, Karen (Larry) Dobberstein, Ann Reinke, James Zarling, cousins, and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
