Phyllis was an outgoing, vibrant and loving individual, and she was an excellent mother to her five children. She loved to spend weekends with her family at their cottage near Waupaca. Phyllis was also a long time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday and Bible School. She also volunteered with Special Olympics and the Red Cross for many years. Phyllis will be remembered fondly by her many friends and card playing buddies at Carmel Residence, where she resided for 22 years.

Phyllis will be missed by her family: daughter, Marsha (Jim Miedel) Holloway, Oshkosh; sons, Dennis (Sandy) Holloway, Oshkosh, Stephen (Karen) Holloway, St. Paul Mn., and Brian (Linda) Walter, Neenah; her 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and her sister Carol Barber, Rhinelander.
