Thomas John Qualley

August 21, 1931 — September 29, 2017

Thomas J. Qualley, age 86, passed away on September 29, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on August 21, 1931 to Norman and Maude (Rohan) Qualley. On September 4, 1954 Tom married Carolyn Bahr in Oshkosh.
Tom graduated from Oshkosh High School and studied several years in college. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the Koran War. Tom worked for 24 years and retired as a group leader at Hoffmaster. He was a long time member of First English Lutheran Church and helped out in the Boy Scouts for many years.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Dan) Reinke; four sons, Vin (Barb), Andy (Deanna), Michael and John Qualley; nine grandchildren, Katie( Andrew) Panske, Paul Reinke, Shannon (Aaron) Brown, Megan, Drew, Jessie and Carmen Qualley, Anna (Mark) Verdegan, and Caitlen (Ben) Wernimont ; six great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Donald) Fisher; brother, Jim (Marsha) Qualley; and sister in law, Charlene Qualley. He is further survived by a special friend of many years, Sue Britton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn; brothers, Lee and Lloyd Qualley.
A funeral service for Tom will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- (Westside) with Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Full military honors will be held at the funeral home following the service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Ammar Alzoubi, Dr. Edward W. Lake and Dr. Mohammad Eyman Mortada as well as the Aurora Health Care staff for all the care and kindness they gave to Tom.
