They say that Heaven is a place
where folks don’t do a thing
But walk around on streets of
gold play harps and sing.
But Lord I’m just a woman and
my tastes are plain you see
But I’d like just a bit of Heaven
that is more like home to me.
I want a friendly little House
with flowers round the door,
And children running in and
out to bake some cookies for.
So save your streets of gold for
those who want those things
around,
But give me just a Little House
and lots of folks to love.
