Adelbert George

Adelbert George, 86, passed away on February 3, 2022, in Oshkosh, WI.He was born on November 13, 1935, in Leon, WI, to the late Jay and Laverne (Malnory) George. He started his career as a Trucking Shop Material Handler and went on to work for Gideon-Lewis.  Adelbert was a member of Faith Christian Center.Adelbert had 3 children: Jay, Barbara, and Dawn.He was best known for his love of horses, fishing, relaxing and watching TV.Adelbert is preceded in death by son, Jay George; daughter, Dawn George; sisters, Janice Bottine, Valeria (Donald) Wolff; and grandchild Corey Harrington.Adelbert is survived by his daughter, Barbara Wright; stepdaughter, Sandra Sarnowski; grandchildren, Heather (Adam) Weed, Shauna Bowman, Ashley (Adam) Sizemore, Alicia Gromowski, Adam George, Kellie (Paul), Dawn (Jim) and Deana (significant other, Eddie), numerous great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A service for Adelbert will be held at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 11AM with Mike Magnuson officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11am at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel.
