Alvina Marie Brandt

Alvina M. Brandt, 93, of Oshkosh died May 19, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1915 in Oshkosh the daughter of Jacob and Mary Scheuermann Weitz. On April 30, 1960 she married Herman J. Brandt in Neenah. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1986.She was owner and operator of Alvinas Beauty Shop for over 30 years. She loved to travel and lived a full life.She is survived by nephews, William (Ilse) Weitz, Dale (Sandy) Weitz; nieces, Karen (Herb) Tesch, Ellen Weitz, Judy (Richard)Leinweber and Kathy (Randolph) Steinert; three step-brothers, Karl Osmus, LeRoy (Sharon) Osmus, and Gilbert (Barb) Osmus. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers Dan, William, George, and Alfred and a step brother, Edward Weitz.Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Omro Junction Cemetery.
