Amy J. Hamm, 51, Oshkosh, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born April 9, 1967, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Carl and Sherri Londowski. Amy was employed by Winnebago Mental Health Institute as a Resident Care Technician for the last several years. She also worked as a bartender for many years, where she enjoyed talking with friends and strangers alike. That’s where she met her husband Marty, who she married April 8, 2016. Amy was a very social and outgoing person, as well as a hard worker. She enjoyed flower gardening and watching the Packers. She also had a strong love for Frank Sinatra and his music; one would say her eyes were the same blue as his.
Amy is survived by her husband, Marty and his son, Hunter; parents: Carl (Lisa) Londowski, Sherri Wichman, and Ginny Hamm-Van Prooien; sisters: Jennifer (Jim) McAloon and Erin (Greg) Riesenweber; nieces and nephews: Ava, Oliver, and Henry McAloon, and Courtney and Caycee Riesenweber; aunts and uncles: Paula (Jim) Vaughan and Diane (Jeff) Groff; cousins: Tammy Vaughan and Matthew (Angie) Vaughan; and special friends: Jill and Lisa.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Dick Wichman and Marty’s dad, Michael Hamm.
A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, with Rev. Mark Kinney officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service.
The family would like to extend a special sign of gratitude to the staff at Aurora Medical Center ICU, and their Oncology department, for the extreme care and compassion that was given to Amy and the entire family.
