Andrew T. Ballard

Andrew Thomas Ballard, age 58, went home to be with Jesus on December 7th, 2022. He was born to Robert and Mary Ballard in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He graduated from UWO with a degree in business and in 1989 began working as an agent with Rural Mutual Insurance. His career spanned 33 years. He loved helping people and was very invested in his local community and church family. He felt the most alive on the missions field, the most wild adventure was a visit to India with his family to love and serve the people there.

The place he found the most beauty and rest was at his family cabin on Pine Lake, Wisconsin. He loved to spend his weekends with his wife Linda at the lake boating, fishing and watching the sunsets. The best times spent for him were in the North woods hunting with his buddies, riding his Harley, praying with friends and spending as much time with wife and daughter as he could.

The most important thing to him was his faith in Jesus Christ and his family. He was the most gentle, patient, humble and kind man. He was fervent in prayer for those he loved and was a support system to all. He is remembered by his wife and best friend Linda, as well as his daughter Alexis. Remembered also by his brothers Robert (Joyce), Ronald (Josie Vallone), and his sisters Sue Hogard (Michael), Sara Maitri (Karen McIntyre). His funeral service will be held at River Valley church in Oshkosh on Friday, December 16 . Visitation will be from 2:30-4 pm, and service from 4-5 pm. (Address: 1331 High Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54901) The family has requested that no flowers be sent. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name.
