Cider, Ann DoloresAnn D. Cider, 91, Oshkosh, joined family and friends who went before her in Eternal Rest where she will await with love those she has left behind on Sunday, December 20, 2015. Ann was born in Topeka, Kansas, in 1924. She was an educator for many years, splitting her teaching times between South Park Junior High and Read School. Ann had a passion for teaching, and even continued after her retirement by volunteering at the Senior Center in town, teaching Spanish to the seniors. She continued that for the past 24 years!Ann is survived by her sons: A.C. Cider and Ronald J. Cider; daughters: Marie Therese Rogers and Mary Ellen Cider; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five sisters: Helen, Therese, Pat, Roberta, and Margie.She was preceded in death by two younger brothers and three younger sisters.A celebration of life mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at St. Jude the Apostle Parish-Sacred Heart site (519 Knapp Street, Oshkosh) with Fr. Matthew Simonar officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass. Handicap access for the Sacred Heart site is located between the buildings. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oshkosh. Memorials in Anns name may be directed to St. Jude Parish.
