Ann E. Beutler 84, of Sister Bay, WI formerly of Oshkosh died Friday August 11, 2006 at Scandia Nursing Home in Sister Bay. Ann was born on January 20, 1922 a daughter of William and Marie Bednorz Sullivan. She married Kenneth S. Beutler on August 10, 1942 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1978.Ann was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She had been employed at Mercy Medical Center and later at UW-Oshkosh, assisting the housing director. She was a member and past president of the Lakeshore Ladies Golf League, member of the Christian Mothers Club, former choir member, and volunteered with Camp Fire. She enjoyed playing the piano. Her favorite holiday was Valentines and she held a special party every year.Survivors include one son Kenneth L. (Georgia) Beutler, of Baileys Harbor; one daughter, Sali (Robert) Colburn, of Oshkosh; one brother, Gerald (Mary) Sullivan, Gurnee, IL; three sisters, Bernice Bink Sutherland, Fairfield, CA; Monica McBride, Surprise, AZ; Patricia Hanson, Appleton; four grandchildren Kenneth A. Beutler, LaCrosse; Michael L. Beutler, Shorewood; Heather L. Colburn, Washington D.C.; Sabrina L. Colburn, Oshkosh; two great grandchildren, Kianna and Paxten Colburn, both of Oshkosh; and one brother-in-law, Chuck Lamb, AL. Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Lucius and Edward Sullivan; and four sisters, Virginia Deda Monteforte, Sr. Augustine Toots Sullivan C.S.A., Sylvia Lamb, and Dorothy Tiny Owen.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Noon, with Fr. Robert Kollath officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from to 11:00 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.A special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Scandia in Sister Bay who cared for mom. She had the best care imaginable.
