Anna Percey

Anna Ann H. Percey, 97 of Oshkosh died Sunday March 18, 2007 at the Bethel Home. She was born October 21, 1909 in Bear Creek, WI the youngest of nine children of Anna and Gustav Block. She was raised in the area of Big Falls, Wisconsin and at the age of fourteen she moved to Oshkosh, where she lived with an aunt and uncle while attending Oshkosh High School.Upon completion of high school she took a job at the First National Bank. Two years later, in 1930 she married W.H. Percey. In later years she was employed by the Fox Valley Technical College as a secretary in the trades and industry division. She retired after seventeen years with the school.Ann had been a member of Professional Secretaries, the Bethel Home Auxiliary, and the Friends of the Senior Citizens. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.Her survivors include her sisters in law, Ann Block and Marcella Block both of Wittenberg, WI, nephews Randal Block, Wayne Block, James Block, Jerry Block and Dale Zaug, a niece, Sally Tschwaldt, and friends, including special friends Bernice Herdina, and Len and Mary Place.Ann was preceded in death by her son, Ralph, her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.Her funeral will be Thursday March 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside with the Rev. Joel Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church or to Bethel Home.
