Ardella A. Sweet, 86, of Oshkosh died Friday September 28, 2007 in Personally Yours Elder Care, Waterford, WI. She was born January 23, 1920 in the Town of Black Wolf a daughter of Rudolph and Albertina Abraham Weber. Ardella married Richard E. Sweet on May 27, 1950 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2002. Ardella had worked at T & S Tobacco for many years and later for Lucilles Dress Shop for 19 years. She was a former member at First English Lutheran Church, where she was a choir member for 60 years and a Sunday School Teacher. Her survivors include a son Paul Sweet of San Diego, Ca; two daughters Lois Sweet of Waukegan, IL and Leah (Michael) Bailey of West Allis; six grandchildren Becky, Katie, Shannon, Carrie, Joshua, and Chelsea; a sister Celda Noe of Oshkosh ; two sisters-in-law June Zuehlke and Jean (William) Emnott both of Oshkosh; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by nine brothers Rudolph, Gerhardt, Herbert, Aldor, Norman, Orville, Roland, Laurence, and Emmett Weber and six sisters Anita Hankwitz, Orabelle Goslee, Gertrude Albrecht, Henrietta Sonnenberg, Leona Kollman, and Adeline Hunt. Funeral services for Ardella will be held Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Sherman Martell officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Wednesday from 4 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers monetary donations will be accepted to go towards several church funds.
