Arleen A. Grancorbitz, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 96. Arleen was born May 6, 1922, in Weyauwega Wisconsin to Martin and Anna (Tank) Paap. She married the late LeRoy “Granny” Grancorbitz on Decemeber 1, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2014
She was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and with her husband owned and operated The Rail Bar in Oshkosh and spent her spare time bowling and square dancing. She enjoyed an old fashion or two and afternoon rides around town.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Gonzales, grandchildren; Craig (Denise) Gonzales and Cristin Gonzales, and three Great Grandchildren; Trevor Daniels, and Josh and Kierra Gonzales.
Arleen was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy “Granny” Grancorbitz, son, Larry Grancorbitz, Brother Gilbert Paap and son-in-law Bernie Gonzales
Funeral services for Arleen will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church at 3 pm with Rev. Jeffrey Berg officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Entombment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.
A memorial is established to Martin Luther Lutheran Church and the Oshkosh Humane Society.
