Arthur Dale Scheller

Arthur D. Scheller, 90, of Oshkosh died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1924, in Town of Black Wolf, a son of the late Arthur and Hazle (Derber) Scheller. He married Beatrice L. Behm on April 23, 1949, in West Bloomfield.Arthur was a member of Emmanuel U. C. C. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, cutting/trimming trees, building things, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice of Oshkosh; eight children, Kristine Flack of Oshkosh, Dale (Susan) Scheller of Oshkosh, Sharon Scheller of Oshkosh, Debbie Scheller (Dave Kottwitz) of Waupun, Gene (Mary) Scheller of Strum, Gary (Julie) Scheller of Oshkosh, Brian (Christine) Scheller of Richland, MI, and Tracy Scheller of Oshkosh; a sister, Elaine (Bob) Caldwell of Lenoir City, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernice (Wayne) MacFarlane of Oshkosh, B. Orville (Joann) Behm of Oshkosh, Dennis (Millie) Behm of Oshkosh, Beverly (Gary) Gensler of Weyauwega, Delmar (Joan) Behm of Fremont, Stanley Behm of Fremont, and Larry (Sherry) Behm of Fremont; four grandchildren, Brittany (Josh) Webb, Cassie Scheller (Leandus Woodford), Emma Scheller, and Quinn Scheller; step-grandchildren, David Schrock and Aaron Courtney; a great-grandson, Leland Sparky Crane; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lucile Newell, Dolores Brooks, Nelda Knapwurst; a brother, Orin Scheller; father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Irene Behm; and brothers-in-law, Roger Behm and Alfred Behm Jr.Funeral services for Arthur will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel U. C. C., Rev. Andi Wolf officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for Emmanuel U. C. C. (1306 Michigan St. Oshkosh WI 54902).Arthurs family wishes to thank the staff at Bethel Home for all their help and care.
