Arthur H. Draeger, 83 of Oshkosh, died at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday December 1, 2010. Art was born in Fond du Lac, on June 4, 1927, a son of the late Herman and Alvina Kiesow Draeger. He married Jane Emmer on October 3, 1964 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death in June 1965. Art then married Maxine Williams in Oshkosh on June 20, 1975 and she preceded him in death on December 2, 2009.Art was a farmer, them worked at the Leach Company for 28 years retiring in 1990. Art was a member of First English Lutheran Church and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was an honorary member of the Fond du Lac Open Road H.O.G. Chapter (Harley Owners Group) since the beginning. Art is most remembered for his 25 years of work with MDA and going to Pilgrim Camp by Green Lake with his Harley and sidecar and giving rides to disabled children and young adults.Survivors include, as Art referred to her, his adopted daughter, Ruth Ruby of Oshkosh and her children, Jana Jungwirth, Nicole (Casey) Kellogg, Kari Jo (Justin) Steinke, Jessaka Ruby and her grandchildren, Ethan Luaders and Jonathon Jungwirth; and one cousin, Norbert (Patricia) Wichman, of Waukesha.Memorial services will be held in the spring, when his fellow bikers can come to the service on their motorcycles. Inurnment will be at Rosendale Cemetery.
