Audrey D. Lenz, 88, of Oshkosh died Wednesday October 11, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born April 21, 1918 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Fred and Olga (nee Bahr) Beglinger. Audrey married William Lenz on August 2, 1943 in Glendale, CA. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1985. Audrey graduated from UW-Oshkosh, she then taught at Nordheim School from 1951- 1953 when Oaklawn School replaced it, where she then taught from 1953- 1968. Audrey then taught at Franklin School from 1968-1980 when she retired. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Audrey was in the Farview Ladies Thursday Morning Golf League, 20th Century Club, volunteered for the Red Cross at Mercy Medical Center as an escort, and volunteered for voting polls and Red Cross Blood drives. Her survivors include a daughter Barbara (Thomas) Philipp, a son Robert Lenz, two grandsons Paul (Lisa) Philipp and Tim Philipp, two great-granddaughters Catherine and Ashley Philipp all of Oshkosh. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and Gordon Beglinger. Funeral services for Audrey will be held Saturday Oct. 14, 2006 at 2:30 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-West, Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 PM until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial to First English Lutheran Church has been established. Audrey enjoyed golfing, eating out with friends, band concerts, attending plays and programs put on by school children, and Packer games. She will be dearly missed
