Beatrice Julia Hyde

Beatrice Bea J. Hyde went home to the Lord on January 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her daughters. She was born on December 4, 1929 the daughter of the late Ovette and Julia (Thull) Hunter of Pickett. Beatrice married LeLand Lee Hyde on November 5, 1950. She lived her whole life in the Oshkosh/Pickett area. Beatrice was employed at Wisconsin Bell, later known as AT&T for about 30 years. Beatrice is survived by her son, Larry Hyde, her three daughters: Jackie (Bob) Medvecz, Susan (Roy) Duxstad and Julie (Mike) Basel; daughter-in-law, Debra Hyde; two grandchildren: Lexi and Alex; two sisters: Laura Martin and Florence Conant; further survived by many nieces, nephews, childhood friends, as well as many friends she made at Lakefront Manor, where she lived for the last 13 years. Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband, Lee who passed away in 2000, as well as her son, Greg in 2008. Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm on Sunday, January 24th, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., with Reverend Tim Greenwald officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett.Special thank you to the staff at Aurora Hospice for all the compassion they had for Beatrice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First English Lutheran Church(1013 Minnesota St. Oshkosh, WI 54902).
