Bernice Ardel Fink

Bernice A. Fink, 72, of Oshkosh, WI died Monday December 15, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1936 in Coon Valley, WI a daughter of the late William and Beulah Holey Halgerson. Bernice married Jerome Joe Fink on June 11, 1955 in Coon Valley. Bernice was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Oshkosh and formerly of the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing handcrafts and was a member of the Mid-Wisconsin Chippers. She is survived by her husband Joe of Oshkosh; two daughters Dawn (Gus) Hinnenkamp of Des Moines, IA and Cheryl Fink of Carlisle, IA; a son Brian (Kasey Gill) Fink of Oshkosh; a sister Sandra Aaronen (Joyce Petzold) of Cottonwood, MN; A brother Eldon (Karen) Halgerson of Holmen, WI; seven grandchildren Christy, Jessica, Marnie, Aarin, Alesha, Eddie Joe, and Jeremy; a great-grandson Drake; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Jerold Halgerson. A funeral service for Bernice will held Saturday Dec. 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Coon Valley Lutheran Church, Rev. Mitzi Miyamoto officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 AM until the service. A visitation in Oshkosh will be held on Thursday Dec. 18 from 5-8 PM at Peace Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Coon Valley Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial in memory of Bernice will be established.Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes & Seland Funeral Home assisted the family.
