Bernice Belle Tulip

October 10, 1921 — December 31, 2012

Bernice Bell Tulip of Oshkosh was called home into the loving arms of her Savior on December 31. 2012. She was born on October 13, 1921 in Ashland, WI the daughter of William and Maude Dandeneau. She grew up in the Ashland area. After marrying Harold Tulip they lived in several small communities in Wisconsin before settling in Marinette, WI for 45 years. Bernice worked at McCory-McCellans Store for many years. She enjoyed collecting clowns and Beanie Babies. Being an avid Packer fan, she had many green and gold Packer items inside and outside her home. She always read the sports section in the newspaper to learn more about her teams players. Bernice and Harold were boaters and favored Green Bay waters. Their favorite place to drop anchor was at Horseshoe Island near Fish Creek in Door County. After Harolds passing in 1998, Bernice moved to Oshkosh to be near her family. Bernice is survived a son, Dr. Richard (Ann) Tulip; daughter, Ardyth (Bob) Bergstrom; and grandchildren, Jason (Leah) Bergstrom, J. T. (Beth) Tulip, Steven (Shannon) Bergstrom, Sydney Tulip, and Sara (Dan) Langlois. Bernice is also survived by a brother, Eugene and great grandchildren, Dane, Alicia. Cole. Tyce, Gabriel, and Hannah. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; sisters, Edna, Elsie, Irene, Lucile, and Fern; and brothers, Bob and Ray. Bernice was a very loving and generous lady always putting others first. Her faith in the Lord was ever present. She loved her family dearly. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 am at Most Blessed Sacrament, St Peters Catholic Church (435 High Ave) with the Rev. James Jugenheimer officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. A graveside committal service will be at Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette, WI on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 am. A memorial donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
