Betty A Monroe

December 28, 1959 — April 3, 2016

Betty Ann Monroe went to meet our Lord on April 2, 2016 at the age of 56 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born December 28, 1959 to Leland and Ruth Lipke in Beaver Dam, WI. She later met and married her husband Gordy Monroe on October 6, 1979 in Fond du Lac. She worked several jobs before becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Northpoint Med and Rehab for 20 years until she could no longer work. She also lived with a quadriplegic and took care of him for over 10 years. She was selfless, always putting others before herself, and would do anything for anybody. She was crafty and was always sewing, knitting or crocheting. She was always on the move going to Milwaukee Brewer and Green Bay Packer games. She also loved the outdoors, fishing and camping whenever possible. She loved animals, especially cats.Betty is survived by her husband Gordy Monroe, her children; April Monroe, Rebecca Monroe, Sandra (Joe) Luedke, Cindy Morth, Jessica Morth, Robert Cutale, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Nicolas.
