Betty Rosenau

Our Mother, Betty (Butzlaff) Rosenau, age 79, passed on to her Lord and Saviors loving arms on August 1, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on May 17, 1927.Betty has been an Oshkosh resident all of her life. She has been a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She married Robert Rosenau on May 17, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1972.Betty was a homemaker and raised a family. She also did private housekeeping jobs as her occupation.Betty is survived by her four children, Richard (Nancy) Rosenau of Whites Creek, TN and Charles (Cynthia) Rosenau, Dennis Rosenau of Oshkosh; and Gloria (Todd) Krenger of Appleton. Betty has five grandchildren, Brian (Shannon) Rosenau of Oshkosh, Jason (Anne) Rosenau of Menasha, Alexander, Zachary, and Brady Krenger of Appleton. She has two great-grandchildren, Mya and Elliot Rosenau of Oshkosh.Preceding her in death, her husband Robert, one infant daughter Janice, her parents Edward and Lydia Rink Butzlaff, three brothers Edward, Harold and George Butzlaff, three sisters Genevieve Butzlaff, Lydia Delap and Virginia Gugenberg.Funeral services will be held at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Gregg Schoeneck officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM to the time of services. Interment will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial has been established.The children of Betty would like to thank all the Park View staff that has been caring for Betty during her illness. We would like to also recognize the nurses, doctors, and pastoral staff of Mercy Medical Center that served Betty and our family at the time of her passing. We would like to also thank the daycare staff of Zion Eldercare and LSS Adult Daycare at the Senior Center, all Caregivers staff that has helped with her care these past years.
