Bonnie J. Reichenberger

Bonnie Jean (Reimer) Reichenberger, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, and into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bonnie lived a life of transformed grace and undaunted faith. She had a servant's heart and always tried to live her life reflecting the love and grace of Jesus. Truly knowing Christ's love, her prayer was for everyone to have a relationship with Him. To so many, she was the closest example of Christ’s unconditional love for all of us.

Bonnie's calling in life was caring for children. Having been blessed with nine brothers and sisters, she found her calling early in life. As the second oldest, she cared for her younger brothers and sisters.

One of the happiest moments in her life was the day she obtained her state license and opened her daycare center. She was so proud to tell people that she was a business owner. Bonnie turned her basement into a wonderful preschool full of fun educational activities. Sharing Christ’s love and compassion, she prayed with children before meals and taught them about Jesus.

Bonnie was also blessed with the talent of cake decorating. She developed her skills while working in the bakery at UWO and at La Sure's. As a hobby, she would make wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and shower cakes for anyone who asked. Because she loved decorating cakes and recognized her talent came from God, she refused to charge for her services. She felt it was another way to share Christ's love.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Dale Reichenberger; two daughters, Carri Ann (Foster) Mullen, Alanda (Gary) Dewhurst; eight siblings: Cindy Farry, Linda (Ken) Ingham, L. Steve Buhrow, Carla (Gary) Buhrow, Diane Millard, Sandra (Jeff) Ulrick, Roy Buhrow Jr., and Brenda (Dave) Christianson; three grandchildren: Cecile, Dylan, and Nicholas; five great grandchildren: Luis, Dylan Jr., Audrey, Emerie, and Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Reimer; her parents, Roy and Phyllis Buhrow; and her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Susan Millard.

A funeral service for Bonnie will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Lake View Memorial Park chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh. Visitation will take place at the chapel on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place immediately following the service.

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor one of Bonnie's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Finally, Bonnie asked everyone try to live as Jesus did, forgiving and loving each other.
