Oshkosh Loses a FriendBrandan Alan Kalmerton ~son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend ~died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in a tragic work accident in Oshkosh, loved by many.Brandan was born on October 17, 1983 in Oshkosh. Brandan was happiest when he was outdoors. Our favorite memories with Brandan include time hunting and four-wheeling at the kovie up at the land, playing on the beach and jumping from the cliffs at family reunions in Marquette, MI, hunting trips out west, fishing in Canada, boating, snowmobiling, sturgeon spearing, ice fishing, laughing at Jerrys with friends, and being with family.He is survived and will be deeply missed by his parents, Al and Cyndi Kalmerton, his brothers Kyle and Grant, and his sister, Alana. He is also survived by his grandma, Leanne Greene and grandparents Lowell and Iva Kalmerton. Survivors also include aunts and uncles: Gail (Kalmerton) and Warren Singer, Don Kalmerton, Karen (Kalmerton) and Jerry Krsnich, Lorna (Kalmerton) and Mitch Adams, Keith and Lisa Kalmerton, Greg and Lori Greene, Randy and Julie Greene, Kathy (Greene) and Kevin Joy, and Bobby and Mary Greene. He is also survived by and will be deeply missed by his love, Melissa Appel, and his many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Robert C. Bob Greene.A Memorial Open House will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at The Waters, 1393 Washington Ave., Oshkosh, WI. Come in your camouflage or wear your pink and join us for a celebration of his life between the hours of 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to OSFC - The Otter Street Fishing Club.Brandan loved and was loved. He was an incredible person who touched our lives and made us laugh. Brandan... forever in our hearts...we will miss you so much!
