Brian L. Van Airsdale, 32, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly on Wednesday November 14, 2007. Brian was born on August 11, 1975 in Neenah the son of Robert and Diane Hansen Van Airsdale. He worked for K&S Construction Co. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, frisbee golf and all water sports. He loved to be around children and was a volunteer at the Oshkosh Y.M.C.A. Brian often did card tricks and loved playing cribbage with his grandpa Bob. He was a helpful and sharing individual who was not happy until everyone was happy.Survivors include his mother and stepfather Diane and James Murph Murphy of Oshkosh; one brother, Craig Van Airsdale of Oshkosh; grandparents, Robert and Nancy Van Airsdale of Saxeville, Jug and Char Murphy of Oshkosh, Donnah Hansen of Waupaca, and Mickey Olsen of Palmetto, FL; uncles and aunts, Mike (Sue) Van Airsdale and Mary Lapinski both of Neenah, Paul Van Airsdale of Saxeville, Bob Murphy, Joanne (Bill) Fenrich, and Pat (Anne) Murphy all of Oshkosh, Shelly Webb and Malinda (Todd) Cooper both of Waupaca. Brian also was survived by other relatives and friends.Brian was preceded in death by his father, Robert Van Airsdale; grandfather, Robert Hansen; and two uncles, Pat Van Airsdale and Sam Lapinski.The memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home at 6:00 PM with Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 PM to the time of serviceIn lieu of flowers a memorial has been formed in Brians name to the Strong Kids Foundation at the Oshkosh Y.M.C.A.
