Carol E. Deising

Carol Elizabeth Deising, age 85 passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, she is now in heaven with her Jesus. She was born on July 18, 1936, in Oshkosh to the late Henry Buttman and Cecelia “Polly” Grunske. Carol married Jack Deising on September 11, 1952. They were together for almost 57 years until his passing on May 13, 2009.

Carol was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Oshkosh where she attended Bible studies and prayer groups. She helped make many quilts with the church women and would help put up the Nativity at Christmas. Carol worked at the Miles Kimball Company for many years at Christmas time. She also sold Avon for 13 years where she achieved making it in Honor Society and President’s Club which are high honors. She had customers who loved her, and she enjoyed selling to them.

Carol was a very loving and caring wife and mother. She absolutely adored and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her children: Debbie (Robert) Pribbernow, Scott (fiancée, Penny Poeschl) Deising; three grandchildren: Brian Pribbernow, Mark (Kellie) Pribbernow, Lexie Loker; four great grandchildren: Addison, Liliana, Christian, Olivia Pribbernow; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Deising; son, Robert Deising; parents: Henry and Cecelia “Polly” Grunske; sisters-in-law: Maureen Jones, Betty Deising, Donna Deising; brothers-in-law: Howard Jones, Richard Deising; and grandson-in-law, Patrick Loker.

A funeral service for Carol will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh with Pastor Douglas Holtz officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
