Christine Ann Manske

Christine A. Manske, 97, of Greenville, died Wednesday October 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born on November 26, 1912 in Wosey, South Dakota the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Hocholter) Lippert. She married Jacob Jake Manske in 1941 they worked together on their farm in New London until they moved to their farm on Mayflower Rd in Greenville. Christine was proud to be a farmer and homemaker, and had a great love for her flowers that she tended to late into her life. Her cooking was second to none, and she enjoyed inviting anyone to her table to try it.She is preceded in death by her husband Jake, her parents, many brothers and sisters, and a very special daughter Ruth Roth. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends who thought of her as family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park-Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral in the chapel. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. She will forever be remembered as a very special woman with a zest and appreciation for life that will be truly missed
