Christine M. Vogelin

Christine M. Vogelin, age 68 of Oshkosh, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born on July 13, 1953 to the late Harvey and Bernice (Knutson) Potratz. Christine married Thomas Vogelin on November 17, 1973 and their marriage was blessed with two children.

She was employed by the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. Christine was a member of Wyldewood Baptist Church, she had a deep trust in God’s promise. She was a generous woman who loved her family fiercely. She found joy in cooking, gardening, and serving others. Christine created many happy memories over the years going camping and traveling with her family.

Christine is lovingly survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Bryan (Alexis) Vogelin; son-in-law: Jeremy Walter; grandchildren: Alexis Vogelin, Logan, Nolan, Avah, and Jackson Walter, and Baby Vogelin (due March 2022); siblings: Richard (Carol) Potratz, Myrna Kaufmann, James (Paula) Potratz, Laurie (Bob) Ives.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her daughter: Jessica Walter; brother: Douglas Potratz; sister: Sharon Potratz; brother-in-law: Thomas Kaufmann.

A funeral service for Christine will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randall King officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
