Christine Yell

Christine A. Yell, 85 of Oshkosh, died Thursday August 19, 2010 at Oakwood Manor. She was born in Lake Worth, FL on March 4, 1925 daughter of Michael and Hilda Pearce Miller. On July 17, 1949 she married John G. Yell in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2007. Christine was an elementary school teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Oshkosh. She was a member of the 1st Church of Christ Scientist.Christine is survived by her son, Richard (Sue) Yell of Omro, WI; daughter, Karen (Bob) Stauffer of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Tina (Tony) Barzano, and Jason (Angie) Jaes both of Oshkosh; great grandson, Alex Schoenick; and sister, Justine Sommers of Waunakee, WI. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Miller.Christine will be inurned in Lake View Memorial Park. There are no services planned.
