Clarence Woehlke, 97 of Oshkosh, died Saturday October 28, 2006 at the Northpoint Medical & Rehabiltitation, after a brief illness. He was born in Rock County, WI on January 12, 1909 the son of Jens and Martha Uecker Everson. On May 3, 1930 he married Adeline Luebke in Oshkosh She preceded him in death on October 21, 1990. Clarence had attended the Peace Lutheran School and Oshkosh Vocational School. He and his wife had loved dancing, at least twice a week at the Eagles Club in Oshkosh and other locations in the area. He was especially partial to the Polka.Clarence had been employed by Kimberly-Clark Co. in a number of positions, but his favorite one had to be that of a semi-trailer driver. He had also farmed in the Town of Black Wolf and had also worked for Foster Lothman Lumber, and Badger Lumber. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. He had been a member of the Eagles Club Aerie 275. He also had a knack and enjoyed repairing cars and small engines. He had also worked at Oshkosh Pure Ice Co. He had also been involved with a number of other businesses in the area in one capacity or another. When he was still able he had enjoyed traveling and camping. His favorite memory was having dinner with Charles Lindbergh at his aunts house.He is survived by four daughters, Doris (Tom) Krumenauer of Oshkosh, Constance (Ron) Koch of Omro, Barbara (Ray) Fores of Oshkosh, and Maxine Mathe of West Jefferson, NC, a son, Terry Woehlke of Salmon,ID, fourteen grandchildren, Scott Krumenauer, Jody (Jeff) Witworth, Traci (Pat) Thome of Hartland, WI, LaWanda (Ron) Jungwirth of Neenah, Cammy Newell of Oshkosh, Angela Koch of Winneconne, Ronda (Ron) Tucker of Lima, OH, Kevin (Diane) Fores of Omro, Kerry (Ann) Fores of Oshkosh, Kelly Fores of Sarasota, FL, Erin (Stuart) Pippin of West Jefferson, NC, Rhoda (Chris) Toynbee of Darby, MT, Fauna (Brandon Weholt of Caldwell, ID, and Cyra (Matthew) Anderson of Missoula, MT., nineteen great grandchildren and two half brothers, Norman (Bev) Everson, and Art (Carol) Everson and two half sisters, Dorothy Beran, and Genny Pederson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen Pupak, and by two half sisters, Evelyn and Esther.His funeral will be on Wednesday November 1, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with the Rev. Chuck Fluegel officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials to the Peace Lutheran Church or the Oshkosh Humane Society.
