Conrad Robertshaw

After beating melanoma and prostate cancers, Conrad C. Robertshaw lost a struggle with melanoma cancer 24 years after the first bout on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on January 3, 1948 in Dixon, Illinois to the late Gale and Mary Jean (Hibbard) Robertshaw. On September 13, 1975 in Oshkosh, he married Mary Jo Behling. Conrad worked at Prescotts Super Value for twelve years, Morgan Doors (Jeld-Wen), and finally as a power plant operator senior at the Waupun Correctional Institute Central Generating Plant until his passing. He enjoyed his Packers as well as discussing and following politics.Conrad was preceded in death by his parents and by an infant daughter, Nicole.He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; son, Chad (Tanya) Robertshaw of Oshkosh; two sisters, Sherry (Jon) Kuehl of McFarland, WI and Debra (Robert) Beck of Portland, OR; along with five nieces and three nephews.A prayer service for Conrad will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside). Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. A special thanks to Dr. Gremminger, Dr. Fletcher, Dr. Rocke, and Derek Elwood, and Monica Dembny.Conrads family would also like to thank the sub acute staff at Mercy Medical Center for taking such good care of him.
