Daniel Lange Garbrecht

Daniel L. Garbrecht, 40, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. He was born on December 9, 1972 in Oshkosh the son of Kenneth and Audrey Lange Garbrecht. Dan was a graduate of Oshkosh North High School he received an engineering degree from U. W. Madison in 1997 and had worked at Banner Packaging. As a boy he enjoyed flying model rockets and during high school he swam at the Y.M.C.A. As an adult he loved time spent with his family and friends.Survivors include his parents, Ken and Audrey, of Oshkosh; brothers, Bill (Teena) Garbrecht of the Town of Menasha, Andrew Garbrecht of Oshkosh; uncle, Tom (Pat) Garbrecht of Arbor Vitae; cousins, Tom Garbrecht Jr. of California, Amy Garbrecht of Ohio, Bob and Mary Robertson of Ohio, Pat (Mike) Theim of Watertown.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (1860 Wisconsin St.) with Rev. Ted Johanson officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
