David Jerald Discher

David Jerald Discher, 42, of Sun Prairie, WI, beloved son, brother and friend, passed away Saturday September 3rd, 2011. David died quietly in his sleep of an undiagnosed heart condition. He is survived by his best friend and golden retriever, Buddie; his parents, Jerald and Helen Discher of Neshkoro, WI; his brother, Richard (Elyse) Discher of Appleton, WI; his uncle and aunt, Jim and Pat Discher of Darlington, WI; as well as a wealth of friends. David is preceded in death by his aunt, Jeanne Nottleman and his grandparents, Harold and Gertrude Discher, Bertha Nottleman-Resheske, Henry Nottleman, and Ed Resheske. David was a graduate of Oshkosh North High School in 1987 and of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1992. He was a member of the American Family Insurance family where he worked for five years as a Sourcing Consultant. David had a passion for golf, the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers, and for spending time outdoors. He will be remembered for his warmth, his friendship and the way he could make anyone laugh.A memorial visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (100 Lake Pointe Drive) in Oshkosh from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 10, 2011. After the visitation there will be a celebration of Davids life at The Bar in Oshkosh (825 N. Washburn Street).
