Dolores K. Weitz

Dolores K. Weitz, 88, of Omro died Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 26, 1923 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Norman and Kathryn Klier. Dolores married Raymond J. Weitz on May 3, 1947 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1999. Dolores had worked at the Telephone Company in California before her marriage and then moved back to Wisconsin and enjoyed farming with her husband for many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Ronald of Omro; two daughters Karen (Edgar) Arreola of Oshkosh and JoAnn (Richard Boehning)Wesenberg of Omro; a sister Marlene (Robert) Kuhn of Oshkosh; three grandchildren Eric Fledderman, Stephanie Fledderman, and Becky (Gregg) Sitter; five great-grandchildren Isaiah, Ashley, Ryan, Noah, and Jonah; a sister-in-law Dorothy Weitz of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends-especially Joan Johnson. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Joyce (Ed) Lust, a brother-in-law Alvin Weitz, and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law June (Bert) Stromske. A funeral service for Dolores is being held Sunday June 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Randall King officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home from noon until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Dolores family would like to thank the staffs at Aurora Visiting Nurses and 2nd floor Aurora Medical Center for all of their help and care.
