Donald Bernard Bednarek

Donald B. Bednarek, age 79, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday May 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born on December 13, 1932 in Oshkosh a son of Walter and Lillian Dushenski Bednarek. On November 1, 1952 he married Patricia Lawrence at St. Johns Catholic ChurchHe drove truck for Wisconsin Distributing for 17 years and worked for Leach Co. for 27 years. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and his flowers. He was a member of the Otter St. Fishing Club and Local 1108 U.A.W.He is survived by his sons, Paul (Diane) Bednarek, Ken (Faith) Bednarek, a daughter, Debra (Dick) Winkler, two grandchildren Nicole Bednarek, Jennifer Garcia, three sisters Josephine Schiefen, Barbara (Harlan Kolodcik) Geffers, Susan (Richard) Yell, nieces, nephews, a special friend Ilomay Beiser, and his special cat Lucky.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother Robert, and one step-brother Kenneth Dushenski.Private family services will be held.
