Donald Edward Basler

Donald Edward Basler, 85, of Oshkosh, passed away on October 15, 2015. Don was born on September 7, 1930, the son of the late Carl and Bernice (Silverthorn) Basler.Don loved to work. He was owner and operator of Basler Auto Sales and Service on 9th and Ohio for 55 years. Don was a veteran of the Korean War.Don is survived by his son, Gary Basler; daughter, Deb (Mark Grasmick) Basler; brother, Lawrence (Debbie) Basler; sister, Arlene Goerlitz; good friends, Dave Pascarella, Mark Dante, Mike Dante, Dennis King and special thanks to his nurse Renee Vanden Heuvel.Don was preceded in death by his siblings Charles, Warren and Joann.As per Dons wishes, there will be no services.
