Donald Richard Tigert

Donald R. Tigert, age 72, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday October 16, 2012 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on November 14, 1939 in Oshkosh a son of Richard and Lillian Koplitz Tigert. On December 1, 1972 he married Frani LaCroix in Oshkosh.He was a member of Living Water Lutheran Church. He had worked for Winnebago County, Rockwell, Pepsi and Oshkosh Truck. He loved farming, going to tractor pulls, the Fair, horse pulls, spending time with his grandchildren, going to the casino, collecting tractor caps, breakfast with the guys, and going to Raffles with his brother Dave.He is survived by his wife Frani, his daughters Cherie Schultz of Green Bay, Jodi(Michael) Ventura of Oshkosh, three grandchildren Elle Bumpas Girl, Keagen and Madison who he called Grandpas Little Hawks, his brother David(Diane) Tigert of Oshkosh, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Toots(Roger) Schmidt, Doreen(Jerry) Gogolewski, Doug(Sandi) LaCroix, Dwaine(Barb) LaCroix, nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, two cousins Jim Tigert and Jack Zentner.A memorial service for Donald will be held on Sunday October 21, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Living Water Lutheran Church(1585 S. Oakwood Rd.) with Rev. John Dorn officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank Rev. Dorn, Dr. Ringwala, Theda Clark ICU staff, Oshkosh Paramedic KC and his team and Dons brother Dave for all their support and kindness.
