Doris Alma Ott

Doris A. Ott, age 87, of Oshkosh, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born in the Town of Lamartine in Fond du Lac County on January 30, 1924, the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Tullett Gilbert. Doris married Roy Harvey Ott on May 15, 1943 in Omro where they lived for many years, moving to Oshkosh in 1967.She graduated from Omro High School in 1942. Doris had been a member of Grace Bible Church.Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Roy; one daughter, Mary (Jay) Tack; granddaughter, Connie (Joseph) Olszewski; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Adam Olszewski; one brother, Marvin Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Shirley Stahl and Dottie Blake; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Harvard; a sister, Frances; a sister-in-law Lorraine; and two brothers-in-law Alvin Blake and George Stahl.Funeral services for Doris will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive) on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to the service time. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial is being established.Doris family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the exceptional care provided to her by Dr. Steven Blaha over the course of many years. Heartfelt thankfulness is also extended to the staff of Aurora Medical Center and Evergreen - Creekview South Household 5.
