Dorothy C. (Noll) Jensen, 70, of Oshkosh, formerly of Davenport, IA, passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2007 at her home after a battle with diabetes and cancer. She was born on January 7, 1937 in Davenport, IA a daughter of Leo and Cora Noll. Dorothy was married to James Birukoff in 1958 until the time of his death in 1974. She then married Douglas Jensen in Oshkosh in 1979.Dorothy moved to Oshkosh in 1961 and lived in Oshkosh and Omro for the rest of her life. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1954. Dorothy and her husband owned and operated the National Tavern in Oshkosh. She loved spending time with her daughters, collecting antiques and glassware. While living in Omro, Dorothy was a Campfire Girls Leader and she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Jensen of Oshkosh, her two daughters, Kristy Hendrich of Pittsburgh, PA, and Lori (Rob) Buerk of Jacksonville, OR, a sister Judith (Ron) Borden of Peoria, IL, and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is further survived by her extended family which includes her step-son, William (Ann) Jensen, two step-daughters, Debora and Judith, several step-grandchildren and a step-brother-in-law, Jack (Karen) Jensen. Preceding her in death were her first husband, James, her parents, Leo and Cora and a brother, Donald Noll.There will be a visitation for family and friends on Friday August 10, 2007 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside from 6-8 PM. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers a memorial in Dorothys name has been established.Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home & Crematory
