Dorothy L. Kierszh

June 1, 1922 — March 8, 2021

Dorothy Lorraine Kierszh, age 98 of Oshkosh, was called to heaven on Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born on June 1, 1922 on the family farm in Fisk, Wisconsin – the first of four children to Henry and Anna Merkel Daubert. On September 15, 1945 she married Stanley Kierszh. Dorothy and Stanley were married for 62 years and had three children.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Guild. She worked in food service at the Oshkosh High School. She enjoyed the little things, sunshine, bird watching, taking short trips shopping, or going to Culver’s for a chocolate malt. However, Dorothy loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Every Sunday morning after church, she would take her children to her mother’s house for coffee and cookies. This became a Sunday tradition that her children and grandchildren carried on with her. Sunday mornings will forever be a time for coffee, cookies, countless stories and laughs that the family will forever cherish.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Michael (Karen) Kierszh, Julie (Eugene) Treichel, and Steve (Jean) Kierszh; grandchildren, Bryan Kierszh, Kristin (Brad Lind) and Ross (Megan) Treichel, Chloe (Eric) Tauber and Chelsea (Elliott) Fenrich; great-grandchildren, Ben Kierszh, Mia and Amber Kierszh, twins Bentley and Landon Treichel, and Callan Fenrich.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley; her parents; grandsons, Jeffery and Charles Kierszh; brothers, Duwayne and Henry Daubert; sister, Elaine Bauer.
A private service will be held on a later date.
