Dorothy L Propp

Dorothy L. Propp, 94, of Oshkosh, died at Aurora Medical Center on December 28, 2007. Dorothy was born on October 21, 1913, in Oshkosh, the youngest child of Samuel and Adeline Luther Buening. Dorothy married Herman Propp on September 25, 1954, in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1977.Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Oshkosh and was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and the Oshkosh Business College. Dorothy faithfully served the citizens of Winnebago County as County Clerk for numerous years. Dorothy was an avid bridge player and was active in the American Legion.Dorothy is survived by her nieces, Ann Luther(Alan Vlach) of Trenton, Maine, Jean Luther(Hary Kozlowski) of Chicago, Catherine Luther(Gerald Stadtmueller) of Oshkosh, and Judith(David) Fleming of Visalia, CA., and a nephew, William Pine of Visalia, CA. Great-nephews and great nieces further survive her; Nicholas Stadtmueller of Minneapolis, Edward Stadtmueller of Port Townsend, Washington, Mark Fleming of Visalia, CA., Kevin Fleming of San Jose, CA., Billy Pine and Dennis Pine of Visalia, CA., Elizabeth Stadtmueller of Madison, and Kellie Pine of Visalia, CA. She is further survived by her faithful and compassionate caretakers of many years, Pat Anderson and Jeanette Boeck.She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Harold, Martin, S. George, and Edwin, her sisters Ruth Taube, and Margaret Schulz and her great-nephew Matthew Pine.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the charity of ones choice
