Edward John Kliss

October 15, 1933 — May 7, 2007

Edward J. Skeeter Kliss, 73, of Oshkosh died Monday May 7, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1933 in Oshkosh a son of the late Vernon and Sophia Kliss. Ed married Claire Worden on June 13, 1953 in Oshkosh. Ed retired from Rockwell Int. and was a member of Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church. He enjoyed duck hunting with his buddies on Streichs Point, tinkering with small motors, and he could fix almost anything. He is survived by his wife Claire of Oshkosh; three daughters, Gayle (Ronald) Billman of Neenah, Jody (David) Hirte of Oshkosh, and Deanne (Daniel) Dailey of Oshkosh; a sister Edie Riegert of Green Bay; six grandchildren, Donovan (Joann) True, Matthew True, Amanda Hirte, Ross Hirte, Jonathan Dailey, and Nathan Dailey; two sisters-in-law Eve (Lou) Agnew and Carol (Bob) Dorschner; and two brothers-in-law Dell (Carolyn) Worden and George (Judith) Worden. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law Raymond (Betty) Kliss, a brother-in-law Harold Reigert, and father and mother-in-law Glen (Anna) Worden. A funeral service for Ed will be held Saturday May 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church, Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial will be established. Skeeters Girls- We love you now and forever.
