Edward Joseph Lazowski

Edward J. Lazowski, 92, formerly of Oshkosh, died of complications due to pneumonia Friday February 27, 2009 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born August 20, 1916 in Manistee, MI a son of the late Michael and Sophie Napora Lazowski. Ed married Jane V. Doemel in April of 1962 in Neenah. She preceded him in death on March 19, 2002.He was a WWII Army veteran serving in Italy and had worked in maintenance at UW-Oshkosh retiring in 1981.Ed is survived by several nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.His funeral will be held Friday March 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel with Deacon Ray Brandenstein officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until the service. Entombment will follow.
