Eileen Minnie Allmers

Eileen Allmers, 87 of Oshkosh, died Tuesday November 29, 2005 at the Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born in Oshkosh on February 21, 1918 the daughter of Leo and Clara Detert Hetue. On June 29, 1940 she married Roger Allmers in Oshkosh.Eileen was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She had been employed in food service at Mercy Medical Center. Eileen enjoyed cooking, reading, and stitchery. At the church she had been active in the Dorcas Circle, and the Neighborhood Center. Mom loved the time that she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She and dad loved to travel together and visiting with their many friends over the years. Eileen is survived by her husband, Roger Allmers of Oshkosh, a son, Gary (Audrey) Allmers of Oshkosh, a daughter, Barbara (Alan) Repp of Oshkosh, a sister, Thelma Lindsten of Clintonville, three grandchildren, Todd (Brenda) Repp, Jason (Sadie) Allmers, Robin (Tom) Heneghan, stepgrandchildren, Lance Patrie, Tyler Patrie, Joyce Bennett, Fawn Lind, Tristie (Richard) Jones, great grandchild, Cody James, step great grandchildren, Luke, Faith, Adam, Kayla, Stacia, Eden, Ricky, Melody, Hunter, Morgan, and William, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allmers, brother, Kenneth Hetue, and a sister, Leona Immich.Eileens funeral will be on Friday December 2, 2005 at 1:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the First English Lutheran Church. Eileens family would like to thank the staff of Evergreen Retirement Community.
